Where are we located and what are our hours?
We are located in Provo Utah at 244 W 300 S Provo, 84601. Our regular hours of operations are from 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. We are closed on weekends and most holidays.
How much does it cost?
The daily cost varies from $90-112 based on which monthly plan you sign up for. If you attend 5 times per week we charge $90 per day($1800 a month). If you would like to come 3 days a week we charge $100 per day($1200 per month). If you would like to come 2 days a week we charge $112 per day($900 per month). This includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, and participation in all activities. We also provide transportation to and from the facility for an additional fee based on the distance traveled. Poppy's Place prides itself on being the most economical option when it comes to senior care. Assisted livings here in Utah cost an average of $3500 per month and if you choose in home care, that can cost $30/hr. So for seniors that wish to still live and home but need somewhere safe and fun to be during the day, Poppy's Place is the best option!
How does billing work?
We bill the last work day of each month for the number of days you or your loved one will be attending the upcoming month. Poppy's Place has many clients and pre-payment allows you to reserve your spot and choose which days you will be attending the center.
Is there a long term contract involved?
We do not have any form of long term service agreement or contract for our clients. If you or your loved one don't enjoy being at Poppy's Place they are free to leave at any time. We do however recommend that new clients at least try to attend for two weeks. We find that two weeks allows the client time to settle in and make new friends at the center.
Do you provide transportation?
Poppy's Place does provide transportation for many of our clients. However there is an additional fee required for this service and varies based on the distance of your home from the center.
What licensing do you have?
Poppy's Place is a fully insured and licensed adult day care facility with the state of Utah. We are licensed by the Utah State Human Services Department and are inspected at least yearly by the state to ensure safe and proper conditions for our clients and staff.
How do you select your staff?
At Poppy's Place we understand the importance of getting our clients the best support and care possible. Each member of our staff goes through a detailed interview process, a criminal background check, and is trained to care for those suffering with dementia. We also ensure each staff member has relevant past work experience and strong family values that create the enjoyable culture seen at Poppy's Place. .
