We are a local family owned senior care facility. From 8-5 Monday through Friday we provide daytime care and engaging activities for your loved ones. We pride ourselves in being the most economical option for senior care in Utah county.
WHAT WE DO
Being a caregiver can be overwhelming! Poppy's Place is here to relieve some of that burden. First, we can pick you or your loved one up each morning. We then have a day full of activities and socialization for them to enjoy. We provide meals and the care needed to help them make friends and stay engaged. After a full day we drop them off back home in the evening where they can have dinner with their loved ones and sleep in their home where they are comfortable.

The Problem
Being a caregiver can be difficult and overwhelming for even the best of us. Maybe your loved one is one of those people that value staying independent. You don't want to check them into an assisted living where they might not receive the care they need and where they might sit in their room alone all day and night. That would make anyone crazy! As we age, we need friends and socialization to help us feel important and loved. When we stop learning and stop feeling important, our mental health quickly drops off. This is what
happens to many members of the elderly community. Dementia begins to set in, they feel like a burden so they sit in their recliner alone for years, It's a sad reality that many face. Staying active in a social based senior daytime care facility is one way to solve these issues.
Our Solution
We want to keep the elderly engaged and active so they realize they still have a purpose and people that love them. If needed, we can pick up and drop off your loved one each day. At our facility, We have a full day
planned with games, exercise, socialization, and food. We also offer showers if that
is something you or your loved one needs assistance with. We are not a medical facility so we don't store or administer medication, but we do offer medication reminders if that's something your loved one needs. Our purpose is to ease the burden on the caregivers shoulders. Let's work together to help your loved one rediscover their value and purpose and keep them mentally sharp for years to come!
